Overview

Visit in Kato Xenia Monastery (estimated drive time 1,5 h) free time for worship. You can visit the old, destroyed monastery on “Calvary” hill. You can optionally visit the monastery in Ano Xenia, which is half an hour away, free time for worship.

Afterwards, we suggest a visit to a picturesque, coastal village called Amaliapolis (Mitzela, which is half an hour away) to have lunch at a traditional tavern. Return to Volos. There will be free time for relaxing or visiting a church in Volos like Agios Konstantinos and Agios Nikolaos.
